2. Set your search. We define must-haves, towns and price range, and I set up listing alerts.
3. Tour homes. In-person or video tours on your schedule.
4. Make a strong offer. Pricing, terms and contingencies backed by recent sales.
5. Inspection & attorney review. In Illinois, both sides typically use real estate attorneys; I coordinate the process.
6. Close. Final walkthrough, closing, keys.
